This is fifty-five minutes of pure Gunpla porn dressed up as a tournament. Every unit on screen exists to be destroyed in increasingly elaborate ways, and the animators know it. You don't watch this for the story or the competitors, you watch to see what new way a Gundam can explode, and how many mobile suits can be in frame when it does.

Once a year, GBN hosts a major event called the Gunpla Force Battle Tournament. The final round comes down to two teams: Avalon, led by the champion Kyoya Kujo, and the elite 7th Panzer Division under the crafty Rommel. Kyoya's Gundam AGE II Magnum leads the way as a range of Gunpla enter the fight to settle which force is strongest. The single-episode ONA is a mecha action prologue built around that clash.
