The setup is clean noir wrapped around mecha: protect the crime lord to take down the terror network, and everything collapses when you realize whose interests actually align. The English dub is genuinely good, the suit designs hold weight, and the action sequences know exactly what they're doing with frame and space. The animation looks like it survived a production fire, but the story structure is so tight it doesn't matter; you're locked in by the second act.

In 2100, Bayside City stands as Japan's leading international port. Angel Arms, a company founded by former police officer Takako, fights terrorism using armored security suits. After the mayor is assassinated, the women of Angel Arms find themselves guarding Hassan, a vicious crime boss, hoping what he knows can help topple a worldwide terrorist network. Hassan holds valuable intelligence, but a gang of criminals is plotting his death, leaving Takako cornered. The situation turns personal when the leader of that organization proves to be a past lover of Alisa, one of Angel Arms' own members. This science fiction film centers on armored action and divided ties.
