The trail leads to Rouka Numachi, a former basketball rival now confined to a wheelchair. Rouka runs an informal advice service, offering desperate people exactly what they want to hear. She collects their misfortunes like trophies, savoring the hope she manufactures before letting it crumble. What begins as Suruga's simple investigation becomes something far more complicated when she recognizes in Rouka a twisted reflection of herself: two girls shaped by injury and obsession, each carrying supernatural baggage.
