Beneath the planet's surface sits the Healing Garden, a sanctuary that has kept Earth healthy for centuries under the care of animal-like fairies called Healing Animals. When a group called Bjögen attacks to infect the garden and slowly poison the world, a fairy named Latte flees to the human world with three trainee healers. Their mission: find three partners who can become Pretty Cures. In Sukoyaka City, a town known for its healthy atmosphere, sickly but upbeat newcomer Nodoka Hanadera befriends classmates Chiyu Sawaizumi and Hinata Hiramitsu. When she finds an ailing Latte, Nodoka refuses to let her suffer, and the talking animal Rabbirin forms a pact that lets her fight as Cure Grace. Chiyu and Hinata soon join her, and the three set out to stop the Bjögen and protect life on Earth.
