This is pure comfort wrapped in four girls who genuinely like each other's company. The comedy doesn't need a punchline to land, it lives in the spaces between studying English, missing friends in different classes, and the small friction of a new teacher who doesn't get them yet. It knows exactly what it is: a show about the weight of minor disappointments, the relief of standing next to people who understand, and how language becomes less important than just being in the same room.

A new school year means new classes, new challenges, and plenty of fresh distractions for Shinobu and her friends, who are still keen on learning other languages. Alice and Yoko have a hard time getting used to being placed in a different class from Shinobu and Aya. Meanwhile, Karen does not get along at all with her new homeroom teacher, who is trying to work out how to come across as friendlier to her students. What unfolds is a gentle comedy about friendship and circumstance, with sometimes misguided schemes, such as Alice and Aya posing as delinquents to seem more grown up. Through shared experiences, the girls keep finding their way back together as the fun and their bonds keep growing.
