Jouji walks into a school full of delinquents and immediately starts treating discipline like a yakuza turf war, except the only weapon he has is genuine belief that these kids aren't lost yet. The comedy lands because he's an actual criminal trying to be a mentor, not a reformed one pretending, the friction between what he is and what he's trying to do creates something that feels lived-in rather than staged. A single OVA that knows exactly what it wants to be: a story about a guy who has no business being a teacher, becoming one anyway, while his past shows up to remind him why he can't escape who he was.
