Nobody's trying to make you laugh here. Five girls in one apartment discovering they have psychic powers, except the powers barely matter because what actually matters is whether Tokiyo can convince anyone she's cool. The absurdist gags hit because they come from real conversations, not setups. The CGI is rough, sometimes actively ugly, but that cheapness becomes part of the joke, these girls are living in a budget anime, and they know it.

Five girls and a cat named Enishi share a home in Nakano, Tokyo, known as the Himote House. Three of them are the Himote sisters, Tokiyo, Kinami and Kokoro, whose family runs the place. Two former classmates, Tae and Minamo, round out the household. Their days are loud and lively, spent working out how to get guys to like them and become popular. There is one more twist: every one of them, the cat included, holds a mysterious secret power. A short-format comedy about daily life under one roof.
