In 1582, during the Warring States period, Akechi Mitsuhide sets out for Saigoku on Oda Nobunaga's orders to reinforce the forces of Hashiba Hideyoshi. At Oenosaka, on the road there, he meets the ghost of Shuten-doji, a demon his ancestors once destroyed. The two-episode short action drama aired as part of the Neo Hyper Kids program. Its tales include The Hill of Old Age, about a plot against Nobunaga, and Seeing the Truth, about an assassin sent to kill Tokugawa Ieyasu, named as Nobunaga's successor.
