Akira saves three years for the wrong computer, then gets handed something that wants to learn what it means to exist. The entire OVA runs on the tension between a guy who just wanted hardware and a biomechanical girl treating every human interaction like source code to crack. It's absurd and earnest in exactly the same breath, never choosing between the joke and the heart.
Akira has spent three years saving for a computer, and he is embarrassed to be the lone member of the Electric Brain Study Society without a machine of his own. When a store advertises a PC9821 at a bargain price for the first five buyers, he races over, but every unit is sold within minutes. Walking home discouraged, he meets a mysterious stranger in an alley who offers him the identical bargain. Akira jumps at it and hurries home, only to learn that his purchase is not a 9821 at all but a 2198: Mimi, a highly advanced biomechanical girl who is also a computer. She runs on an almost constant supply of sperm, and she soon has to protect Akira from the scheming Apple Nacintosh sisters, who want to take over PC sales across Japan. A three-episode OVA mixing comedy, ecchi and science fiction.
