The opening hot spring promise gets destroyed the moment the beach episode actually starts. Bell's harem stops being a romance subplot and becomes a surrealist comedy bit where logic collapses, girls are competing with sea cucumbers, Ais acts possessed, a banana becomes an oracle. It's chaos that knows exactly how funny it is, and the animation team treats the absurdity with the same detail they'd give a real fight scene.

Bell Cranel and the rest of Hestia Familia take on a quest to gather rare medicinal herbs from a deserted island, and they treat the job as a beach vacation to recover from recent events. The getaway turns chaotic when Hestia, Lili and Haruhime compete for Bell's attention. Then Ais shows up unexpectedly, and the normally stoic sword maiden is acting surprisingly carefree. As strange things begin happening on the island, the group has to find a way through the sudden hardships. The result is a one-episode OVA of fantasy adventure, romantic comedy and ecchi fanservice.
