SYNOPSIS
Astra Ludger Doomsday spent decades commanding royal knights, enduring endless battles and political chaos. Now that he's finally cashed out his savings to buy a quiet cottage, he's ready to vanish into obscurity and live in peace. His retirement lasts approximately one day before a young apprentice witch crash-lands through his roof, quite literally. The girl is convinced Astra is someone important, someone capable of helping her with whatever magical crisis has sent her flying through the countryside. He is not interested. He wants to fix his house, drink tea in solitude, and pretend adventuring was something that happened to someone else. Astra's carefully constructed retirement plan collides headfirst with chaos magic, mistaken identity, and a teenager who won't take no for an answer. What unfolds is a comedy about a grizzled veteran trying desperately to reclaim normalcy while surrounded by the exact kind of supernatural nonsense he spent his whole life fighting. Astra's quiet life is over. He just doesn't know it yet.
