Jashin-chan is pure spite dressed up as comedy. A literal demon gets summoned into a college girl's apartment and spends every episode getting violently exorcised in increasingly creative ways, then revives just in time to ruin her life again. The joke never gets old because the show treats slapstick with the deadpan precision of a horror film, and Jashin's refusal to stay dead or learn anything becomes the actual rhythm of the humor. It's built for people who find absurdity funnier when it's relentless and consequence-free. The animation shortcuts actually serve the comedy, making each death feel like a gag that earned its punchline through sheer repetition and spite.

Jashin-chan Dropkick X Mame Anime is a 2022 comedy ONA from Nomad.
