A monster bar where kaiju come to decompress after getting their asses handed to them by Ultra heroes hits a specific kind of funny that most shows miss entirely. The comedy lives in the mundane complaint, a tired Baltan wiping down glasses while some bruised creature at the counter rehashes today's loss like a salaryman after a bad meeting. It's the Ultra franchise admitting what everyone already knows: these monsters are just trying to survive, and sometimes that means a drink and someone who gets it.

Every evening, monsters from the Ultra franchise gather at the Monster Bar to drink away their troubles, whether they held their own against the Ultra heroes that day or took a thorough beating. Over drinks they recharge and hatch fresh schemes for tomorrow. Baltan manages the place with help from Dada and Kanegon, and Pigmon works there part-time. Regulars include Red King, Eleking, Gomora, Gudon, Zetton, King Joe and Twin Tail. The short comedy centers on the kaiju running the tavern and the hassles that come with the job, and it was made to mark the reopening of a real Kaijuu Sakaba in Kawasaki and a second location in Osaka.
