Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara returns in a single OVA episode released in 2014, packaged alongside the eleventh volume of the light novel it adapts. Its Japanese subtitle points to a Christmas setting, and the genres mark it as a romantic comedy. Viewers who already follow the story will find a short holiday extra with the cast rather than a standalone entry point.
