These shorts exist in the space between episodes, catching the rental girlfriend cast in moments too small for the main show to bother with. The comedy lands because it trusts you to already know these people, then immediately finds new angles on the same dynamics. You get the lightness without the bloat, the character moments without the romantic plot machinery grinding underneath.

Kanojo, Okarishimasu 2nd Season Petit is a set of short comedy episodes that carries on the petit series made alongside the first season. The shorts feature super-deformed versions of the characters and were first released on the official Twitter account. They were later collected on the four Blu-ray volumes of the second season of Kanojo, Okarishimasu. The twelve-episode count includes a petit short announcing the third season TV anime.
