The visuals look deliberately rough, like someone built a world out of scraps and refused to sand the edges down. That aesthetic, low-budget 3D that doesn't apologize, becomes the entire point of a survival story where five girls move through a dying landscape with the kind of purpose that makes you trust them immediately. By episode two you're watching something that didn't have the resources to waste time on exposition or comfort, and that constraint becomes its strangest strength.
Kemurikusa is a two-episode ONA made by Tatsuki, whose work took first place at the 24th 3D Anime Contest in 2012. A band of girls struggles to stay alive in a world left in ruins after an apocalypse, in a sci-fi adventure with action elements. The short later served as the basis for a TV anime in 2019, and Tatsuki hosts it on his YouTube channel, irodoriginal.
