A couple's single day of doubt becomes an excavation of everything they've built and everything they're afraid to lose. Enjouji chasing Ranmaru isn't romance, it's panic dressed as devotion, and the show knows the difference. By the time you understand what the lipstick actually means, you're already inside the specific weight of loving someone long enough to doubt them.

Enjouji and Ranmaru are two men who have loved each other since junior high and now live together as a mostly contented couple. Enjouji works as a host, and when he comes home after a night of drinking with a client, Ranmaru spots lipstick on his chest, the smell of makeup on his clothes and matches from a love hotel. A woman then phones asking for him, and Ranmaru, hurt and suspicious, storms out. Enjouji follows him through the day, and as he does, both men think back over their past together and wonder about their uncertain future. The result is a short, one-episode romantic drama about trust, memory and what the two of them mean to each other.
