Two additional episodes of Linebarrels of Iron, numbered 25 and 26, were released on the DVD after the 2008 television series. They continue the story of Kouichi Hayase, a bullied fourteen-year-old who once daydreamed about being a hero until a strange accident left him with a girl and the giant humanoid robot Linebarrel. The OVA mixes mecha action and comedy with ecchi humor.
