Nobody remembers this one, but it shouldn't take a deep cut to find a show where a girl just loves racing more than anything else, no apologies, no subplot required. Lip doesn't need saving or a love interest or a tragic backstory, she has a pink three-wheeler and the hunger to prove she's faster than whoever's in front of her. The comedy lands because the show trusts that watching someone obsessed with one pure thing is funny enough, and it is.

Mach Girl is a short-format comedy spun off from Tatsunoko Production's Mach Go Go Go, the series also known as Speed Racer. Its heroine is a girl called Lip, who travels from place to place so she can take part in races with a lot riding on them. Her vehicle is the Mach Pink, a three-wheeled machine. The run consists of 26 brief episodes that aired in 2008.
