The magical girl contract has always been a con, but this final season stops pretending there's poetry in the suffering. It trades Madoka's philosophical dread for something rawer: girls trapped in systems that commodify their desperation, with no god waiting to save them. Four episodes to watch everything collapse into the kind of ending that doesn't resolve so much as acknowledge what was always broken.

Magia Record reaches its final season in four episodes that aired together in 2022, closing out the psychological mahou shoujo drama. The fighting in Kamihama City grows fiercer, and as Walpurgis Night turns toward Mitakihara City, attention moves to Embryo Eve, a dormant artificial being said to be able to free magical girls from their fates. The Wings of Magius are close to carrying out their plan, and Iroha Tamaki's chance to stop them is slipping away. Her allies battle the Uwasa of the Soldier Bear to reach her, while Mifuyu holds back the Amane sisters. Meanwhile, Iroha and Touka recover memories that had been taken from them by Nemu's power.
