Nobody expects the mahou shoujo parody to be funnier than the actual mahou shoujo anime. Punie's deadpan cruelty wrapped in pink ribbons is the entire joke, and it never overstays its welcome.

Magical Witch Punie-chan Omake Episodes is a set of four extra episodes released in 2006 as bonus material for Dai Mahou Touge. The shorts carry over the comedy and magical girl genres of the main series, offering additional material featuring Punie-chan, the magical witch the title names.
