Maken-Ki! 2 knows exactly what it is and stops pretending otherwise. The fight choreography is clean, the character designs pop off the screen, and the fanservice lands without the awkward apologies that sink most ecchi shows. It swaps plot continuity for permission to just let loose, which means every episode exists to deliver exactly what you came for without the padding.

Takeru is back at Tenbi Academy, now serving on the school's recently created Security Committee. Alongside his fellow members, he fights people who abuse their Maken to do harm. Keeping order is only half his trouble, though. His own libido and the rival affections of the girls around him keep making things far more complicated. This sequel season mixes action with ecchi, pairing Maken battles with romantic entanglements across ten episodes.
