Sachiko's world colliding with people who don't understand what she and Yumi are to each other forces the show to finally stop being comfortable. The animation breathes here in ways it never did before, giving you room to sit in the quiet moments that actually matter. Five episodes is short, but they're structured to let a relationship survive pressure instead of dissolve under it.

Summer break arrives at Lillian Girls' Academy, and Yumi and Sachiko head to the Ogasawara family's summer home for a restful getaway. What should be a relaxing vacation sours when some of Sachiko's old friends from wealthy families drop in without warning. These snobbish guests look down on Yumi, decide she does not deserve Sachiko's affection, and set out to make her summer miserable. The five-episode OVA is a slice-of-life drama that takes the relationship between Yumi and her older sister figure away from school and puts it under strain.
