If you watched season 1 of Maria-sama ga Miteru, this is what you've been waiting for without knowing it: the cast stops performing and just exists, and suddenly they're hilarious. Seven minutes of chibi chaos where the jokes land because they know exactly which character quirks will detonate in a room together. It costs nothing to watch, asks nothing from you except the memory of who these girls are, and delivers pure comfort wrapped in the kind of gag pacing that doesn't let you catch your breath until it's over.

Maria Watches Over Us: Don't Tell Mother Maria is a set of seven short specials from 2004 that came packaged with the DVD releases of Maria-sama ga Miteru. The shorts render the cast in a chibi style and lean toward comedy, with romance and slice-of-life elements in the mix. They work as small bonus pieces for viewers who already know the main series.
