Scientist Ichiroubei Hiiragi finds a way into the Six Gates, a parallel realm full of monsters and hidden treasures known as Mon Mon Items. His daughter Rokuna and her classmate Mondo join him on the journey, but they are not the only ones seeking those treasures. Count Collection and his assistants want the items so they can conquer both the human world and the monster world. Taking up the name Mon Colle Knights, Mondo and Rokuna team up with friendly monsters to hunt for the Mon Mon Items before Count Collection does, working to protect both realms and to build friendship between them. The adventure mixes fantasy and comedy.
