A single song stretched into something that feels like drowning in slow motion. The animation doesn't follow the music, it precedes it, pulls at you before the next note lands, leaving you constantly off-balance. Nowoka builds dread from stillness, from the spaces between frames, from a visual language that knows exactly when to move and when to make you wait. By the time you understand what you're watching, the song has already ended, but the feeling doesn't.

Nero is a music video for the song of the same name by Sou, directed and animated by Nowoka. The track also plays as the opening theme of the anime Dead Mount Death Play. Two versions of the song exist: the original sung by Sou, and a vocaloid version featuring Flower that was uploaded later, on April 13, 2023, to Kirai Hiiragi's channel. The single piece is tagged with horror, psychological and supernatural genres.
