A year after joining the game company Eagle Jump, and with Fairies Story 3 finished, Aoba Suzukaze is looking forward to finally being a senpai to the incoming recruits. Before that happens, a contest to choose the character designs for the next project is held. With guidance from Ko Yagami, the previous character designer, Aoba wins and becomes lead character designer on a cute new game called Peco. The job brings extra work and longer hours, and she wonders whether she is really right for it. With help from her friends, coworkers and some new faces, she works through her inexperience in this second season of a comedy about the daily working lives of the women at a game studio.
