Nobody expects the chibi spinoff to be funnier than the main show. Ple Ple Pleiades takes every dramatic moment Overlord III built and collapses it into five-minute chunks where Albedo's obsession becomes slapstick and Nazarick's hierarchy breaks down into pure chaos. If you've spent three seasons watching Ainz play 4D chess, this is where you watch his guardians completely fail at basic tasks while he watches from the throne.

The Overlord cast returns in super-deformed form for a third run of comedy shorts. Across 13 brief ONA episodes released in 2018, the series parodies Overlord III and streamed on Kadokawa's official YouTube channel. It continues the Ple Ple Pleiades line that began in 2015 as chibi specials packaged with the Overlord home video releases. Expect light comedy built on the fantasy world of the main show.
