The city is already rotting, and Branch exists in the spaces nobody else will look. Buzz carrying a Boomer partner isn't a gimmick; it's the show asking whether the thing saving lives is actually alive, and whether it matters if you can't tell the difference. Three episodes of hand-drawn neon and underground EDM that understands what cyberpunk actually costs, not the aesthetics, the exhaustion of working in a system designed to collapse.

Branch is a secret unit inside the AD Police that deals with crimes involving Boomers, the humanoid robots of the Bubblegum Crisis universe. Buzz, one of its officers, has to adjust to working alongside a Boomer partner. Fellow officer Michaelson comes to see the divide between human and machine as a very narrow one. Together they work to protect a world that is gradually falling apart around them. The three-episode OVA mixes action and science fiction with mecha elements.
