Pikachu and friends visit a town built around an enormous drawbridge. Trouble starts when they discover that Ash's Oshawott and Tepig have eaten the fruit a group of wild Gothita and Darumaka had gathered. The group sets out for the forest on the far side of the bridge to pick more fruit. Then Meowth turns up and tries to steal it, and the bridge is raised, cutting off their way through. Pikachu has to figure out what to do as the struggle over the fruit gets underway, in a short Pokémon special that mixes adventure, comedy and fantasy.
