Pikachu and Meowth team up to hunt for Mew, a Pokémon that is famously hard to find. Their search ranges far and wide: they look under the waves, up in the air and through the forest, hoping to catch a glimpse of it. The special mixes adventure, comedy and fantasy in a short, lighthearted outing, presented in 3D as its title promises, and it leaves open the question of whether the pair will ever find what they are looking for.
