Jesse, James and Meowth have finished building an enormous new Team Rocket headquarters and plan a lavish gala to present it to their boss. For the evening's entertainment they have locked up a group of maraca-carrying Whismur, who are unhappy about being forced to perform. Pikachu, Torchic, Mudkip and their companions make their way into the base, reach the Whismur's cell and set out to free them. As the escape gets underway, heroes and villains alike keep breaking into group dances. The result is a short comedic adventure special.
