A-Ko and B-Ko's arranged marriage chaos collides with an alien invasion, and the show doesn't blink, it just cranks up the absurdity until both plot threads become equally ridiculous. The animation gets noticeably sharper here, which means the sight gags and superhuman kung-fu slaps land with real weight. Kei stays completely useless throughout, which is exactly the joke, and Mari's backhand carries more comedic timing than most shows' entire scripts. It doesn't stick the landing on wrapping up the series, but it doesn't matter because you're too busy laughing at how hard it commits to pure, zany comedy spectacle.

Archaeologists in Iraq uncover ancient relics whose writings foretell the arrival of a superior race and the end of civilization. Back in Graviton City, A-Ko and B-Ko are too busy fighting over Kei to notice anything else. When Mr. Daitokuji arranges a marriage between Kei and Miss Ayumi, both girls are furious. They'll sabotage, scheme, and throw down however necessary to wreck these wedding plans. Their chaos reaches a fever pitch just as a massive Alpha Cygnan fleet, still hunting for its lost princess, closes in on the city. A weakened Earth Defence Force tries to hold the aliens back while the rivals tear the ceremony apart, leaving Kei, Ayumi and C-ko stuck in the crossfire. The result is a one-episode comedy that throws love triangle squabbling and sci-fi mecha spectacle into the same brawl.
