A refugee girl from a dead planet strapped into restraints just to exist in public space. Every mission to pay off debt ends in collateral damage so catastrophic that she goes deeper into the hole. The joke that kills is watching her be the strongest person in any room and still lose everything because her own power is the problem she can't solve. Her parents are useless, her restraints barely work, and the galaxy doesn't care that she's trying. This is sci-fi comedy built on a single, perfect premise: what if your greatest asset was your worst curse, and nobody owed you sympathy for it?
Maris is a refugee from a planet that no longer exists, and her family is no help: her father is an alcoholic and her mother is an airhead. Her real trouble is being a Thanatosian, a race six times stronger than ordinary Earthlings. Even with special alloy restraints on, she breaks nearly everything she touches. She works for the Inter-Galactic Space Patrol, but the cost of the damage she causes comes out of her wages, so every mission leaves her deeper in debt. Then she is picked to rescue Kogane Maru, a rich and handsome man held by a ruthless kidnapper. Maris is sure that saving him will earn his lasting gratitude, a wedding, and an end to her money troubles. The one-episode OVA mixes sci-fi action with comedy.
