SYNOPSIS
Maris is a Thanatosian exile living on Earth with her dysfunctional family: a father who drowns his problems in alcohol and a mother whose airheadedness rivals her own. Being six times stronger than any human should be an advantage, but for Maris it's a nightmare. Her superhuman power leaves a trail of wreckage wherever she goes, and no amount of protective gear can stop the collateral damage from piling up. Working for the Inter-Galactic Space Patrol, Maris takes on dangerous assignments across the cosmos. The problem? Every destroyed building, every smashed vehicle, every exploded spaceship gets deducted from her paycheck. She's perpetually broke and in debt. When a high-profile rescue mission lands in her lap, Maris sees her chance at finally catching a break. All she has to do is save Kogane Maru, a wealthy and attractive man held captive by a dangerous criminal. Success means gratitude, reward money, and maybe, finally, financial stability.
