Tianming carries the weight of a dead man's teaching now, and Ge Nie isn't there to shoulder it anymore. Season two doesn't reset the board or pretend the first story mattered less, it proves how much damage a victory can do when you're still learning what victory costs. The Qin Dynasty doesn't wait for orphans to grow into heroes, and neither does this show.
Jing Tianming and Ge Nie barely slip free of Wei Zhuang's assassins, and the escape pushes them toward Mechanical City, the Mohist School's hidden stronghold tucked away in the mountains. Its traps and mechanical beasts have kept the Qin Empire out so far, making it one of the last safe gathering points for those plotting against the throne. Tianming and his allies find shelter there, but Wei Zhuang has no intention of letting the fortress stand. He turns to the Gongshu clan, masters of brutal war machinery, and sends a trained force to slip past the defenses and spread chaos from within. Picking up right where the first season ended, this action fantasy adventure carries on Tianming's story.
