Nobody's trying to save the world or unlock hidden powers here. The Vongola crew just shows up at actual Japanese tourist spots and immediately makes everything worse through sheer chaotic energy. It's the show at its loosest, which means the comedy lands harder because there's zero narrative weight holding it back, just a mafia family pretending to be normal students and failing spectacularly at every turn.

The main characters of Katekyo Hitman Reborn! set out on a school trip that takes them to a range of tourist spots around Japan. The comedy special was first streamed as a stand-alone episode on the Shounen Jump website in 2010. A DVD release followed in July 2010 and included additional scenes not in the web version.
