Dejiko's still here, still doing the exact same bit, and somehow it still lands because the show knows nobody's watching this for plot. The gag is that nothing has changed in 24 years except the girls got older and the corporate mascots showed up to be weird about it. If you watched Di Gi Charat when it first dropped, this hits like a friend texting you out of nowhere with the same dumb joke you both made in 2000.

Dejiko and Puchiko, two alien girls from the planet Di Gi Charat, are living on Earth once again in this run of short comedy episodes. Hikaru is now a high schooler, while the Black Gema-Gema Gang still marches proudly along its wicked path. Joining the lively cast as new regulars are two goddesses: Brocco-desu, who stands for the company Broccoli, and Bushirodo-no-Mikoto, who stands for the company Bushiroad. The mini series was made to mark the franchise's 24th anniversary.
