Onbuu is a ghost born from a brilliantly shining green jade. He is lovingly raised by Ojii, the finest blacksmith in the village. Each episode is a short story drawn from Japanese folk tales, and in between Onbuu spends his days playing with Ojoo and the Kan Gon-chan brothers. The supernatural TV series from 1972 runs 52 episodes and follows the mischief of a ghost in an old village.
