The Flower Division gets to breathe here, six episodes where the war is finally over and these pilots become people again instead of weapons. Each episode focuses on one character doing something mundane, something small, something that has nothing to do with saving the world. That's the whole point. After everything they survived together, watching them garden or worry about love or just exist in peacetime hits different than any battle sequence could.

With the demon wars over, the Flower Division finally has a chance to rest after all their fighting. Each episode of this six-part OVA focuses on a different member of the unit as the team sets off on assorted adventures in various parts of Japan. As the second Sakura Wars OVA, the series pairs mecha science fiction with adventure and romance.
