Nobody expects the Sengoku BASARA movie to stop being a movie. This one does exactly that, cutting itself into chibi chaos and pretending historical warlords are just roommates with too many weapons. If you came for the spectacle, you'll find something better: five minutes of pure permission to not care.

Sengoku BASARA's cast is redrawn in chibi form for this 2011 comedy special, which runs five short episodes. Rather than telling one continuing story, it strings together unconnected side tales featuring the characters, shrunk down for lighthearted, gag-focused vignettes. The result is a playful comic companion piece to the Sengoku BASARA franchise.
