The action sequences deliver exactly what franchise fans came for, though the story ends before it finds its real shape.

Maeda Toshiie and Matsu travel to Shikoku to meet Chousokabe Motochika, the lord who rules there, and deliver a set of unreasonable demands from Nobunaga. Motochika refuses them and urges Maeda to turn against Nobunaga. Meanwhile, Keiji tries to persuade Mouri Motonari to join the fight against Nobunaga, and he ends up imprisoned for it. Motochika and Motonari then move against each other. The story is a single action special.
