This is a time capsule of 1980s Japanese car culture that doesn't pretend to be about racing, it's about two idiots who love their lowered cars more than they love making sense. Hajime and Hiroshii are classmates and close friends obsessed with shakotan, street cars dropped as low to the ground as they will go. They pass their days cruising in a Toyota Soarer, racing other drivers and trying to pick up girls. They also land in frequent scrapes with bosozoku biker gangs and small-time yakuza thugs, and often end up fleeing the police. Adapted from Michiharu Kusunoki's manga, the four-episode OVA blends action and comedy and picks up after the events of the 1987 live-action film.
