This is filler for people who already committed their lives to this franchise. If you've watched three seasons and own the DVDs, these chibi shorts hit because they're doing something the main show can't: letting Levi and the squad breathe, mess up, and be genuinely stupid without the weight of humanity's extinction hanging over their heads. Four episodes of pure comedic relief built specifically for the people who showed up on release day.

A new batch of chibi parody shorts arrives as bonus content with the third season of Shingeki no Kyojin on DVD and Blu-ray. There are four videos in total, one on each disc, and every video holds three short stories. Together they pick up where the chibi parody specials from earlier seasons' home releases left off, carrying that comedic storyline forward. The result is a light mix of comedy and fantasy, told in small, super-deformed segments. Viewers who enjoyed the earlier chibi extras will find more of the same gag-driven fun here.
