A half-wild creature and a boy who needs him more than he needs warmth. White Fang is born in the Alaskan wilds to a wolf father and a mother who is half wolf and half dog. One day he and his mother meet Mit-sah, an Inuit boy who has long wished for a dog of his own, and by a stroke of luck the boy and his father take the wolves in. Life in Alaska is hard on people and animals alike, and winter brings fresh trials for White Fang and Mit-sah. Faced with bitter cold and human greed, the pair set out together in search of a happier place to live. The story is told as a single adventure special.
