SYNOPSIS
Eight students at International Academy stumble into the strangest extra credit opportunity imaginable when their eccentric teacher Toukichi Hashiba recruits them for a classified experiment. Inside a meteorite that crashed to Earth years ago are eight mysterious chambers left behind by unknown aliens, and Hashiba has a wild theory: if the students focus intensely on imagining a giant robot, the meteorite will respond and bring their collective vision to life. What starts as a joke quickly becomes reality. The chambers activate, syncing the eight teenagers' minds into a single consciousness piloting a massive mecha. Now they're thrust into the role of Earth's unexpected defenders against threats neither they nor the adults around them fully understand.
