A lazy sorcerer who actually has the power to back up his indifference until he finds one thing worth fighting for. The first half moves like it's being chased, throwing you into worldbuilding and magic systems without apology, but the payoff is a character who stops being a joke and becomes someone you genuinely believe would burn the world down for his sister. The combat choreography doesn't rely on screaming names at the sky; it's precise, grounded, and smart enough to know that a sorcerer doesn't fight like a martial artist.

Orphen is a gifted sorcerer with a reputation for laziness. Five years earlier, under his birth name Krylancelo, he studied at the Tower of Fang alongside Azalie, a foster sister he adored, until a failed experiment left her in the shape of a dragon. The Tower's elders chased her away and hid what had happened, so he left, took a new name and swore to restore her. Now his search has stalled when a chance meeting brings him back to Azalie, though he still has no cure. Their former mentor Childman and old classmates Hardia and Komikuron are closing in to capture her. Joining Orphen are Cleao, an heiress who comes along without being asked, and his apprentice Majic, in this action fantasy adventure adapted from a light novel series.
