Glenn sleeps through class because he's too busy solving actual magic problems the rest of the world hasn't noticed yet. The show doesn't waste time pretending he's a good teacher, it's too interested in how magic actually works, and why a lazy fraud becomes the only person the school can trust when everything falls apart. Watch it if you want spellcraft that respects its own rules and a protagonist who trolls his students because he's thinking three moves ahead.

Glenn Radars is suddenly appointed as a part-time instructor at the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy, a prestigious school with a 400-year history, after a well-liked teacher abruptly retires. The lazy instructor tends to write self-study on the blackboard and nap, which quickly puts him at odds with his class. When his student Sistine Fibel, a stern noble girl, challenges him to a duel in anger, he is beaten with ease. Then hidden forces within the empire begin to stir, and a terrible incident threatens the school. Glenn reveals a fierce dedication to protecting his students, and he, Sistine and her cheerful best friend Rumia Tingel are caught up in those schemes, joined by a destiny none of them can explain. The mix is action, comedy and fantasy.
