Stitch is fleeing on the mad scientist Jumba's space scooter when a space storm catches him and forces an emergency landing on Izayoi Island, a fictional island at Japan's southern tip near Okinawa. There he meets Yuuna, a spirited fourth grader who knows karate. She tells him about the Stone of Chitama, a mysterious object able to grant any wish, but Stitch must first perform 43 good deeds to earn his. A Japanese spin-off of Disney's Lilo & Stitch set after the film, the series mixes adventure, comedy and science fiction across 25 episodes, with Yuuna taking the place of Lilo and a Japanese island standing in for Hawaii.
