Picking up after the events of Kikaider 01 the Animation, Jiro still roams the streets, struggling against the evil impulses left behind by Gill's submission chip. He attacks a local high school boy, then discovers the boy is Inazuman. Inazuman has no wish to destroy Jiro, yet he cannot simply walk away and leave him be. This one-episode sci-fi special brings the animated Kikaider together with fellow Toei hero Inazuman, drawing on Shotaro Ishinomori's Inazuman manga story The Boy with the Guitar.
