Wang Ling just wants crispy noodles. Everyone around him is scheming for power, status, magic swords, the stuff that usually drives anime plots. He killed the Demon King at six and decided that was enough; now he's watching normal people obsess over the exact things he's already transcended, and the show finds comedy gold in his complete indifference to their desperation. The joke never gets old because the show keeps introducing new cultivators convinced they're the main character, only to watch them bounce off someone who treats world-ending threats like minor inconveniences between meals. It's a parody that doesn't mock what it's parodying, it just lets you see cultivation fantasy from the perspective of someone for whom it stopped mattering a long time ago.

Their eldest daughter Yoshiko enrolls at Faction 60 as cover and becomes friends with Wang Ling and his crew, but her real mission soon comes to light, and Wang Ling must try to stop the Kyuumiya. The ONA mixes action, comedy and fantasy.
